Trust, safety & security
The standard behind every DAWNS journey.
Embassies, corporate travel managers and family offices choose DAWNS because every chauffeur, every vehicle and every booking sits inside a documented standard — visible to the principal, auditable on request.
Chauffeur vetting
Every DAWNS chauffeur is interviewed in person, background-checked, road-tested and re-credentialed annually. We retain copies of licence, residency and prior-employer references on file before any principal is assigned.
Vehicle safety
Every vehicle in the fleet is on a scheduled maintenance programme tracked inside our dispatch system. Service status, last-serviced date and next-service date are visible to operations before a vehicle is dispatched.
QR verification at pickup
Each booking issues a single-use QR code with a unique verification token. Principals scan to confirm the chauffeur and vehicle assigned to them before stepping in. Tokens rotate after every checkpoint and expire automatically.
Audit trail on every trip
Status changes, check-ins, check-outs, dispatch messages and operator actions are written to an immutable audit log. Corporate and embassy account holders can request an export for any booking, in CSV or XLSX.
Data protection by design
Principal records, bookings and audit data sit behind row-level security in our managed backend. Customers see only their own bookings. Dispatchers and chauffeurs see only what is assigned to them. Service-role access is reserved for verified webhooks and admin tooling.
24/7 dispatch & escalation
A live dispatch desk operates around the clock. Delay, weather or routing changes trigger a WhatsApp alert to the principal and the booker, with a single point of escalation for embassies and corporate travel managers.
Platform controls
Built on a secured operations platform.
DAWNS runs on a managed cloud backend with row-level security, role-based access and real-time audit logging. The list below describes the controls currently enabled in our production environment.
Email / password auth
Customer accounts are protected by hashed credentials. Sessions are short-lived and refreshable.
Role-based access
Admin, Dispatcher, Chauffeur and Customer roles are stored in a dedicated table and enforced server-side.
Real-time dispatch
Status changes and delivery failures are pushed live to the operations console — no manual refresh.
WhatsApp delivery receipts
Every dispatch notification carries a delivery and read receipt, with retry on failure.
Corporate & embassy accounts
Consolidated invoicing, named bookers, multi-rider trips and per-account SLA reporting.
Incident response
A documented internal procedure for delays, accidents and security incidents — with named on-call leadership.

What we collect
Only what a booking requires.
- · Principal and booker contact details (name, phone, email)
- · Pickup, drop-off, flight number and trip preferences
- · Payment confirmations from Paystack or Flutterwave — full card data never touches our servers
- · Audit metadata for every status change, message and check-in
Privacy requests
Access, export, deletion.
Principals may request a copy of their booking history, correct inaccurate data or ask for deletion of their account. Corporate account administrators may request consolidated audit exports for any booking made under their account. See our Privacy Policy for the full statement, or contact privacy@dawnsmobility.ng.
